    • History of the Department:

             The Department of Computer Applications was established in June 2008. The Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) program is a specialized four-year degree focusing on computer applications. It prepares students for the practical use of computers and equips them to thrive in today's rapidly advancing computational era. The program spans eight semesters and follows a Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS), totalling 202 credit points. Each batch admits a maximum of 80 students.

              BCA provides the foundational qualification for professionals aiming for successful careers in the IT field, meeting international standards. After completing this course, graduates can pursue higher studies like MCA, MBA, etc., at any UGC-recognized university or other reputable institutions in India or abroad.
